We are looking for a 6 month full stack development intern at our R&D office in Lyon (Villeurbanne), candidates should be available to start in Lyon in September 2024 and should be studying computer science or software engineering in France.

 

SUMMARY

As a student intern, you will help develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will work on impactful projects to help maintain, advance, and accelerate ANSYS products. 

  

In this internship, you will support our Coud, AI, Solutions, Enablement Business Unit vision by helping to deliver developer tools that connect with our simulation platform for greater democratization of Ansys technologies. 

  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

− Work alongside software developers during the design, implementation and verification process. 

− Apply full-stack development toward tools and experiences to aid internal and external developers.

− Engage a continuous delivery dev ops process for release management and feature deployment.

− Work on documentation and guidelines

− Investigate defects in production code. 

− Develop unit and regression tests.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

− Pursuing a master level degree in France in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.  Related technical degree with significant programming experience will also be considered. 

− Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship program. 

− Exposure to web, application, or full-stack software development 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

- IDE experience 

- Python Scripting experience 

- Cloud-based computing

- RPC or HTTP Remote API Experience 

- Web Programming Language Experience:  Angular / JavaScript / TypeScript
