Role Overview:
As Director of FP&A, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving financial performance, reporting excellence, and informed decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with global and regional finance teams to enhance financial visibility, improve forecasting, and evaluate strategic investments. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, executive communication, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of company-wide financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Deliver insightful analyses and executive presentations for senior leadership.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in management reporting.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary on key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Planning, Forecasting & Consolidation:
- Manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning cycles.
- Coordinate with regional FP&A teams to align corporate and local forecasts.
- Enhance financial models and reporting frameworks for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Process Improvement & FP&A Excellence:
- Drive standardization and automation across FP&A processes.
- Identify and implement best practices in financial planning and reporting.
- Partner with IT to improve FP&A tools, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
- Build and maintain KPI frameworks and dashboards for enterprise-wide visibility.
- Utilize/create new digital technology to further enhance business practices.
Capital Investment & Strategic Analysis:
- Monitor post-investment performance and ensure disciplined capital allocation.
- Support with financial evaluation of capital investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
Business Partnership & Leadership:
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, and Business Units.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Mentor and develop FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of analytical excellence.
- Drive business performance in accordance with goals established by senior management
Leadership & Team Development:
- Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, and business partnership.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred).
