Job Description

We would love you to join us at Experian in helping us to shape the future of employer services for Human Resources compliance and outsourcing.  We are seeking a Senior Client Data Analyst to join our Client Operations team. You’ll help shape a new business at Experian and help to drive market penetration of new and existing product lines in this space.

We seek a candidate eager to join a start-up atmosphere, someone who is able to adapt readily, instill confidence in internal and external partners and drive results. Comfort with ambiguity and a high aptitude for adaptability are necessary.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Client Data Analyst role will collaborate extensively with various departments within the organization to drive analyses and develop reporting that will drive business decisions. They will lead with communication and project management skills to understand client needs and work through potential roadblocks to resolutions. Using predictive statistical approaches, they will be expected to provide insights into performance trends that anticipate future outcomes. They will proactively prioritize and manage assignments for themselves and their team members, as well as identify new areas in need of monitoring or improved reporting. They will work collaboratively to develop new tools and processes, including relaying and prioritizing technical requests to the internal product organization, as needed.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Run analyses of complex data sets and be able to convey findings succinctly for a non-technical audience.
  • Serve as a liaison between Operations and Product organization to represent the needs and priorities of your business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for automation of existing manual reporting and advocate for the proper prioritization of those efforts.
  • Lead creative efforts to iterate on existing reporting protocols that drive client and business performance
  • Influence both internal and external contacts to adopt recommended approaches to reporting best practices
  • Define, collect, and monitor key business metrics.
  • Design and maintain insightful automated dashboards and data visualizations to track key metrics and trends.
  • Collaborate with business intelligence on data warehouse requirements etc.
  • Be actively involved, at times playing a lead role in testing, training, and implementation of applications/solutions.

What your background looks like:

  • Extensive experience with data analysis and relevant tools to perform those analyses (such as R, Python, and SAS)
  • Ability to translate technical analysis into data visualizations (using BI software such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sisense) for ease of consumption by non-technical audiences.
  • Strong academic record, ideally in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or other quantitative field
  • Possess an analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving difficult problems
  • Experience with CRM data analysis, data management, integration, and conversion; Salesforce.com data structure proficiency a plus
  • SQL / T-SQL Language and SQL Server Experience
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, take initiative and prioritize multiple work items for yourself and your team.
  • Must remain flexible and be comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of human capital management systems and/or HR/Payroll/Tax related product offerings a plus
