About the role

Job Summary: The Manager of Clinical Education directs and oversees the training and development of clinical staff throughout Butler Hospital, and reports to the Director of Nursing Education. The incumbent will work closely with the nursing leadership, staff, and other hospital departments to develop programs that address the continuing educational needs and competency of our clinical staff. Responsibilities include the coordination of curriculum development and evaluation, management of department budgets and oversight of grant funded programs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Specifications: Master's degree in Nursing, Health Services Administration, or Public Health required. A minimum of three to five years of prior nursing experience in a supervisory or teaching role. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island required. Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills as well as administrative and planning abilities necessary. Prior experience in curriculum development and evaluation is highly desirable.

Schedule: 40/80 Full Time Days (Monday-Friday)
