Summary of Job Duties:

The County Extension Agent – Staff Chair provides leadership to the planning, implemention & evaluation of the county program & supervises the county staff. The Staff Chair is responsible for overseeing administration of county maintenance & operating accounts & the county checking accounts. The Staff Chair works with elected officials & other funding entities to secure funds & interpret the county program. The Staff Chair also simultaneously performs the program responsibilities of either a county Extension agent – agriculture agent.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:

Master’s degree in agriculture or related area is required. Minimum of three years of relevant work experience with increasingly more responsible assignments is required. Must have transportation for use on the job with liability insurance in effect.
