Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Clinical Informatics Specialist who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Clinical Informatics Specialist you will:
• Maintain and complete new Cerner build in the Emergency Medicine (FirstNet) Module and PowerNote ED.
• Maintain and complete new Cerner PowerChart build to include orders, PowerPlans, clinical documentation, iView, ED Tracking Shell and PowerForms.
• Review, build and test clinical rules and alerts.
• Update and build Cerner mPages.
• Meet with stakeholders to complete design and validation.
• Support Integration testing, project management duties, downtimes and go lives.
• Partner with training team and local clinical informatics teams.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Nursing, Application Management, or other technology related field
• 3-5 years of related experience in building, supporting and establishing complex application systems is required.
• Experience in Cerner Clinical Documentation Management solutions
• 2 years’ of hands-on experience as a clinical application analyst within an information services department of a multi-entity acute care health system
• Clinical licensure preferred which may include one of the following: Pharmacy technician, Lab technologist, Radiology technologist, Respiratory Therapist and RN
• Hands on clinical applications management experience. Prefer end-to-end project lifecycle experience.

Work Schedule:
2 days per week - 2 days/8 hours or 4 days/4 hours
Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Traveling from Rehabilitation Rockville and Rehabilitation Silver Spring
Pay Range:
$37.17 - $55.76If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
