Hiring Range: $19.74 - $23.19 Per Hour

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in organizing program activities, timelines, and resources to ensure smooth program execution;

  • Works collaboratively with program staff to carry out program objectives and deliverables;

  • Provides support in tracking program progress and maintaining documentation;

  • Participates in community outreach efforts and engagement activities to gather input to understand the needs of the community;

  • Supports the organization and facilitation of community meetings, workshops, and events;

  • Maintains program documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence;

  • Provides administrative support to program managers and coordinators, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing materials;

  • Handles routine administrative tasks as required;

  • Stays informed about public health best practices and trends through ongoing learning and training opportunities;

  • Seeks opportunities for professional growth within the public health field.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent AND one year of experience in the Public Health program related field.

Preferred Qualifications: (Be specific in describing your experience in your application. Ensure the descriptions provided illustrate your competencies, specifically addressing the required and preferred qualifications.):  

  • Minimum one (1) year experience working in public services.

  • Minimum one (1) year experience providing direct client services to diverse populations and cultures of diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

  • Experience in data collection, client interviewing techniques, and creating computer-generated reports.

  • Experience using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, electronic health records, and web-based applications.
