We are looking for a Senior React Front End Engineer to join a new team at the company. As a Senior React Front-End Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining impactful web applications (some new codebases; others less than a year old). Further, there is an opportunity in the mid-term to take more of a leading role within the engineering team, where you would build, lead, and mentor a team of distributed engineers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using ReactJS and potentially Angular
- Collaborate with product, designers, backend, and QA to create user-friendly and scalable applications
- Implement and advocate for best practices in code quality and unit testing
- Encourage best practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest front-end technologies
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Senior Front End Engineer with expertise in React and related technologies.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with data visualization libraries and animations
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or React Query
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (in English)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passion for technology and innovation
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Experience with performance optimization techniques, cross-browser compatibility issues
- Familiarity with back-end technologies and full-stack development.

The position is ideally a hybrid role and the office is located in Walnut Creek, CA. We will also consider candidates in the Los Angeles area and the office is located in Burbank, CA. We will also consider 100% remote.
