What You Will Be Doing:

Under the general supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, assists in the direction of a prisoner work crew who will prepare and serve meals for approximately 950 prisoners three times daily at the Anchorage Correctional Center (ACC) in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Food Production: Knowledge of planning, growing, and harvesting of food for consumption using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Food Service: Knowledge of preparing and serving food for consumption
  • Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
