Registered Nurse

Discover your purpose at CentraCare by making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients as a Registered Nurse at the Sauk Centre Hospital!  In this role, you will work in both the Surgery and Chemo/Infusion Departments, delivering high quality and compassionate care to patients. 

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting focused and comprehensive health assessments to identify patient problems, establish outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective and efficient care delivery in accordance with CentraCare’s standards. 

Schedule:

• Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | Sauk Centre Hospital 
  • Approximately 40 hours every two weeks working in Surgery & 24 hours every two weeks in Chemo/Infusion
• Various 8-hour shifts between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm 
• Every 3rd weekend OR on-call | Rotating weekday on-call approximately 1-2 days/week | Rotating holiday on-call 

• Possible travel to other rural sites pending census

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay based on experience and degree 
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour 
  • Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour 
  • Master’s in nursing starting at $43.43 per hour 
    • Pay range: $41.34 - $62.01 per hour 
• $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates

Qualifications: 

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing  
• Current Minnesota RN license 
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 
• Must obtain Oncology Nurse Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification within 6 months of employment 
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situation
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred 
• Oncology Certified Nurse within 6 months of employment preferred 
   

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation assistance, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Sauk Centre Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment. CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
