Job Description

We’re looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Multifamily Field Specialist. In this hands-on role, you’ll represent the company on-site with multifamily, commercial, and residential customers, installing energy-efficient equipment and performing pre- and post-installation verifications. You’ll provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure projects meet client specifications while supporting Account Managers in promoting energy efficiency solutions. This position involves hands-on installation of advanced measures such as smart thermostats, air sealing, minor carpentry, and drywall, along with traveling throughout the state.

You’re a great fit if you can…

  • Serve as the on-site company representative for multifamily, commercial, and residential customers.

  • Install energy-efficient equipment and perform pre- and post-installation verifications.

  • Conduct energy efficiency assessments and gather technical data within a defined territory.

  • Support Account Managers in driving energy efficiency retrofits and new construction projects.

  • Provide technical expertise, training, and guidance to crew members based on client specifications.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend effective solutions.

  • Perform quality assurance reviews, including blower door and duct blaster diagnostics, and electronically submit field data.

  • Lead installations, configurations, and enhancements of energy efficiency measures while providing technical support.

  • Share project updates and feedback with program staff on scope, planning, and product effectiveness.

  • Install advanced efficiency measures such as smart thermostats, air sealing, minor carpentry, and drywall.

Exciting candidates will have…

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, HVAC, general repairs, building science, or home inspections.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Skilled in installing energy-efficient equipment and performing technical verifications.

  • Framing, drywall repair, and texturing experience is an asset.

  • Experience providing technical guidance, training, and support.

  • Knowledge of smart thermostats and air sealing techniques.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the state, with occasional out-of-state trips (about one week every couple of months).

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

$26-$31/h
