Job Summary:                

This role will be responsible for the administration of the company's global equity compensation plans and will coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate processing, reporting, and disclosure of equity transactions. Additionally, this role will administer the U.S. non-qualified deferred compensation plan, global retention process, provide analytical and benchmarking support, and participate in special projects as needed.                        

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Manages the processing of equity transactions in compliance with current rules and regulations, ensures compliance with SOX controls and governance of equity plan documents, monitors tax rates for upcoming equity transactions and liaises with the company’s global payroll to ensure tax compliance
  • Partners closely with 3rd-party providers to ensure data accuracy, reconciles records between Stock Administration, HR, and Payroll, runs reports and analyzes data to support Exec Comp modeling and projects
  • Administers the annual non-qualified deferred compensation plan by partnering with the 3rd party record-keeper to set up the enrollment system, develop and review participant enrollment communications, and ensure accurate payroll processing of enrollments through system and payroll audits                
  • Works with HR Strategic Advisors and/or business leaders on both cash and stock retention awards, creates and maintains retention award letters according to country-specific laws and administers award letter process in the Docusign system                
  • Participates in executive and broad-based compensation surveys, supports M&A transactions, and Pay Equity analyses

Skills, Education and Experience (Required to Perform Essential Functions):                

Skills (including soft and technical skills)                        

  • Minimum of 4 years of executive compensation experience with at least 2 years of stock plan administration experience                        
  • Strong understanding of equity compensation plans, including Restricted Stock Units, Performance Shares, and Stock options; Domestic and international knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters related to equity programs and taxation.                        
  • Knowledge of 3rd party equity administration systems; Merrill Lynch equity platform experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with managers, associates, HR team, as well as external constituents such as vendors.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong proficiency with analyzing data sets, creating formulas, v-lookups, and pivot tables.
