Outside Sales Representative

Jackson Group Peterbilt is a growing and customer focused company specializing in Heavy Duty all makes Truck/Equipment parts. We pride ourselves on quality products, trusted relationships, and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team. 

Position Summary

The Outside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, generating new business, and increasing sales within an assigned territory. This role involves regular travel to customer locations and close coordination with our inside sales, delivery drivers, and warehouse teams. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
• Present product solutions and provide technical knowledge as needed
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and fallow up on deliveries
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

 

Qualifications

• Two plus years previous outside sales experience required (Parts or industry sales preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities 
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Basic computer skills (email, order systems, Excel)
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Pre-employment physical, breath alcohol test, and drug screen required
