Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.<br/> <br/> EY Parthenon is growing and is looking for a Senior Consultant Financial Due Dilligence.<br/> <br/> The Transaction Diligence team aims to assist clients, both private equity firms and corporate clients, throughout the whole transaction process. Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of the service, transaction support is much broader, incorporating assistance with business plan assessment, including support to the transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.</span></span></p> <p><br/> <span><span><b>Your key responsibilities</b></span></span></p> <p><br/> <span><span><b>As a senior consultant transaction diligence, your tasks and responsibilities will include:</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span>Performing financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses together with your project team. You will do this with a view to identifying risks of importance that are relevant to the perception of a contemplated transaction.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Analyzing key balance sheet components and valuation issues, for example, identifying overvalued assets and undervalued/omitted liabilities.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Quantifying tax and other non compliance exposures</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Coordinating with other advisors/investors (e.g. legal, lenders)</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Supporting the buyer’s negotiating position and purchase price adjustments.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Providing input to purchase and debt agreements and other related documents.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Analyzing working capital requirements and seasonality relative to proposed target levels.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><b><span>Skills and attributes for success</span></b></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span>Highly numerate with strong attention to detail </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Logical and methodical approach</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><b><span>To qualify for the role you must have</span></b></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span>Master degree and minimum 2 years of working experience preferably in audit</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Excellent trilingual Dutch/French/English</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Good accounting knowledge</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels</span></span></li> <li><span><span>You have the necessary competencies to perform your job independently while using professional assertiveness</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Project management skills and excel spread-sheeting skills<br/> <b> </b></span></span></li> </ul> <p><span><b><span>Ideally, you’ll also have</span></b></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span>Excellent communication skills and within a virtual working environment</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Enrollment in the CFA program<br/>  </span></span></li> </ul> <p><span><b><span>What working at EY offers</span></b></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>We offer a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
