POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Creative Strategy Group at Nestlé Health Science serves as the bridge between Marketing and Creative, translating business priorities and consumer insights into impactful brand concepts and ideas. In this role, you’ll turn strategy into powerful concepts and express them through clear, compelling language.
We are hiring a writing-focused, hybrid creative/strategy position with ownership of both big, conceptual ideas and execution, working closely with the Brand Strategist while operating with a high degree of independence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a strategic creative partner to brand and marketing teams, helping shape brand and campaign direction and creative approach early in the planning process.
- Work across a portfolio of brands simultaneously, developing a deep understanding of multiple brand strategies, audiences, and product portfolios to inform creative development and execution.
- Define and maintain brand voice, messaging frameworks, and verbal systems
- Create written deliverables such as:
- Brand playbooks and messaging guides.
- Campaign concepts, lines, and creative territories.
- Strategic narratives and positioning documents.
- Copy toolkits that enable other teams to execute full-funnel campaigns.
- Oversee and ensure brand consistency across all written outputs while allowing flexibility for different channels.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own projects and timelines.
- Collaborate with strategy, designers, marketers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life cohesively.
- Balance strong creative thinking with strategic rigor and business context, ensuring ideas ladder up to brand and commercial priorities.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 to 5 years of previous experience in creative strategy, brand writing, copywriting, or a hybrid creative role.
- High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree would be positive.
- Strong writing portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking and effective execution.
- Experience building messaging frameworks or brand voices that scale across teams.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and rationale to both creative and non-creative partners.
- High level of accountability and comfort working independently.
- Interest in (or experience transitioning toward) strategy-led creative work.
- Experience in brand, campaign, or integrated marketing environments is positive.
- Familiarity with full-funnel thinking (from awareness to conversion) is desired.
- Prior experience in a small or fast-moving team where accountability mattered is nice to have.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey.
The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
