FSQA Tech I Lab Alpha

FSQA Lab Tech I is a detail-oriented and proactive Food Quality Lab Technician supporting lab operations and product testing. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance and ensuring product quality through thorough inspection, sample collection, and documentation.   Job Duties:

• Maintain lab housekeeping by managing waste, cleaning benchtops, cleaning carts, sanitizing biological safety cabinets, de-cluttering lab, other duties as assign, etc.
• Manage shipping and receiving packages for the Micro Lab
• Complete any errands including but not limited to sample pick-up (when needed), courier package drop-off, and any outside lab errands
• Outside lab sample collecting including water samples, etc.
• Finished Goods analytical testing of PET products and pre-retort cans

  Qualifications Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years' experience with quality inspection, auditing, data collection, and testing.
• 6 months experience in a lab setting
• Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office and Office-based database systems.
• Ability to understand department documents
• Ability to display sound logic and attention to details.
• Ability to communicate comfortably and work with co-workers in a team environment.
• Ability to follow a schedule, as well as verbal and written instructions.
• Read and speak English.
• Bachelors or Associate degree in a program in a science field or quality technology preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sound Math skills e.g. Percent Calculations, averages, means, standard deviation etc.
• Respond quickly to information request from internal and external customers.
• Ability to follow SOPs
