Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Industrial Engineering organization is seeking a Methods Process Analyst (Level 2, 3, or 4) to support the Supply Chain Engineering team located in Everett, WA.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have the unique opportunity integrate between Boeing and our suppliers to stabilize, improve, and transform production systems and processes. The Supply Chain Engineering team partners with Supply Chain Operations to provide support or assistance to a supplier by identifying and mitigating any supply chain risk to the Boeing Production System. Our Methods Process Analysts will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, as well as improving quality through root cause analysis. 

The role evaluates supplier production data, identify risks and work with Procurement Agents to protect BCA production health. Our team’s currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior analysts.

Positions Responsibilities:

  • Performing capacity analysis and recommending an optimal execution strategy based on the supplier resource (labor, machine, and production system) to enable an efficient, effective, and optimized production process.

  • Prepare, assess, and conduct post-activities for a Production Readiness Assessment.

  • Create, develop and utilize data analytics/modeling to enhance decision making and extend this to the external supply base.

  • Conducts analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines.

  • Develops forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans under the guidance of experienced analysts.

  • Contributes to the development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages under the guidance of experienced analysts.

  • Monitors performance to established labor hour estimates.

  • Assists in the identification and implementation of improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.

  • Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.

  • Develops modifications to existing plans and obtain approval.

  • Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics in order to support a recommend plan of action.

These positions are expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidates will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.

These positions require the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field

  • Able to travel 50%-75% of the time

  • 1+ years of experience in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  •  6+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 10+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 2+ years of experience with Lean manufacturing.

  • 2+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in supply chain.

  • 3+ years of experience working in a team environment.

  • Proficient in structured problem solving.

  • Proficient in Visual Basic

  • Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL).

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2): Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mid-Level (Level 3): Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of educati
