The Chief of Staff to the Group Vice President of DaVita’s End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) Model of Care will be responsible for partnering with various functions across the business to drive strategic planning, management process, business communications and aggregating / synthesizing information to support business processes and decision-making. This role will be pivotal in supporting the Villages top initiatives to reduce hospitalizations, drive IKC total cost of care reduction and win in Quality.  This role will support the Group Vice President but will report to the Vice President of Integrated Kidney Care Clinical Programs.

Location: Denver based, hybrid role. Up to 25% travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Support the Group Vice President in crafting and executing on strategic initiatives 

  • Organize core operating efforts and drive collaboration with lane and across lanes 

  • Execute lane management process: meeting agendas, recaps, follow-ups

  • Create executive materials for leadership readouts 

  • Project manage critical projects working across multiple service lanes; monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior leadership 

  • Support in the development and improvement of a top performing leadership team 

  • Support internal/external communication by helping to crafting and delivering key messages 

  • Regularly apprise the GVP of project status and variations from schedule or scope 

Strategy & Project Execution: 

  • Manages and drives strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with other teams 

  • Able to structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and drive execution 

  • Develops and communicates project scope, timeline, plan, resource requirements, and assumptions 

  • Creates, implements, and drives adoption of processes and solutions to further clinical and business outcomes 

  • Communicates project status updates and needs to senior leadership; prepares, reports, and manages against targets/goals including scope, schedule, metrics, and revenue 

Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Prior experience in Strategy, Consulting with Project Management or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives within the healthcare industry. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a strategic, operational leadership, or project management role 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams required

  • Prior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payors, physician networks, value-based care models, and/or integrated care models preferred 

  • Must be comfortable researching and presenting internal and external data to help senior leaders make decisions

  • Travel required: up to 25%. This role is based in Denver.
