We’re looking for a motivated and safety-focused Lift Maintenance Technician – Level 1 to join our Mountain Operations team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, learning new skills, and being part of the behind-the-scenes crew that keeps our mountain running safely and smoothly.
This is a year-round, full-time position with full benefits and 401k offering.

What You’ll Do:
Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of aerial and surface lifts
Complete routine maintenance tasks under the guidance of senior technicians
Perform basic mechanical adjustments and lubrication
Support lift start-up and shutdown procedures
Help troubleshoot lift issues and communicate findings to senior techs
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and parts used
Follow all safety protocols and industry standards at all times
Assist with snow removal and general mountain operations tasks as needed
Provide excellent internal customer service to lift operations and other departments
What We’re Looking For:
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Comfortable working at heights and around machinery (training provided)
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
Valid driver’s license (required)
Previous mechanical, electrical, or maintenance experience is a plus but not required
Schedule & Work Environment:
Early morning start times required
Weekends and holidays required during the winter season
Fast-paced, outdoor environment with changing mountain conditions
