Optometry | AcademicsAs directed by the Principle Investigator or co-investigator, coordinates and organizes oversight of a research clinic operation, especially subject participation at the OSU College of Optometry site; will need to work under minimal supervision and make decisions according to policies and procedures; develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain study participants for the duration of the study; coordinate screening potential subjects over the phone, scheduling potential subjects, and providing encouragement and motivation to study participants to maintain compliance with study protocol and attendance at all examination visits; develop, create and produce a study newsletter to long term studies; maintain calendar for studies, schedule all visits and coordinate appointment reminders, schedule and coordinate examiner schedules and exam facility schedules to ensure that subjects are seen efficiently and according to follow-up schedules; ensure the study is conducted in accordance with the study protocol guidelines, policies, and requirements of OSU and the study sponsoring agency; enter study data into database or electronic data capture; assist in regulatory document submission, in preparation of documents for the Institutional Review Board, for the Office of Sponsored Projects, maintains clinic inventory, and is responsible for study supply procurement, management, and returns to sponsor as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences or other medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience required.
- 1 year of relevant experience required.
Pay Range: $24.76 - $32.33
Salary offer will be determined from candidate education and experience, and internal equity.
