This position reports to Takeda’s Global Human Resources (HR) organization and follows the Global HR hybrid work model. The role is classified as hybrid and requires at least five (5) days per month working in the office in Łódź, Poland.

Position Objectives:

The Human Resources Business Leader (HRBL), a director level role, for the Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) sets and drives a forward-looking global people agenda that enhances organizational capabilities, fosters engagement and belonging, and cultivates lifelong learning and talent development. As a trusted advisor to the Finance CoE Leadership Team and a key contributor to Business Excellence HR, this role ensures an exceptional people experience by embedding strategic HR initiatives across geographies, elevating performance, and shaping a culture that aligns with Takeda’s values and mission.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional employee experience within Finance CoE that enables individuals to thrive and supports Takeda’s mission.

  • Champion a forward-looking global people agenda, enhancing organizational capabilities, engagement, learning, and talent development.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Finance CoE Leadership Team, driving organizational effectiveness across mindset, process, role design, and KPIs.

  • Oversee global talent management processes including succession planning, performance management, and compensation.

  • Lead the design and deployment of talent and learning programs, maximizing global resources and fostering a culture of continuous growth.

  • Ensure competitive talent acquisition and total rewards practices aligned with functional needs.

  • Provide high-quality people insights to Finance CoE Leadership Team and people leaders, enabling course correction and inspiring step-change solutions.

  • Manage escalated labor and employee relations cases with objectivity, consistency, compliance, and risk mitigation.

  • Cultivate strong partnerships across HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, People & Labor Relations, and other Business Excellence HR members, as well as Corporate Functions such as Finance, Legal and Ethics & Compliance, Communications and Governance.

  • Contribute to Global HR, Global Finance, and Business Excellence HR strategies and initiatives. Lead and participate in projects, applying deep Finance CoE knowledge and external best practices to co-create enterprise solutions.

Education, Behavioral Competencies and Skills: 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of HR experience with minimum 5 years of HR business partner experience.

  • Experience in top-tier consulting and/or supporting global business services/shared services functions is a plus.

  • Proven track record of driving business growth and leading transformation initiatives across complex global organizations.

Strategic & Business Acumen

  • Strategic enterprise thinker with a global, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets effectively.

  • Ability to plan and execute strategies that align with business goals and adapt to changing environments.

  • Deep understanding of global business services and digital technologies, including AI and data analytics.
