Position Brand Description: 

Responsible for ensuring an overall state of compliance as it relates to executing tasks that could be either strategic or tactical concerning business needs.  Ensure that process automation solutions / systems are in-control, capable, and compliant. 

 

Key Objectives / Deliverables: 

  • Serve as the system custodian for network infrastructure including but not limited to servers, workstations, network, and cyber security. 

  • Serve as a liaison between Engineering and IT keeping pace with global changes that impact the site and determining implementation strategy. 

  • Serve as the site SME for automation infrastructure. 

  • Ensure changes to control systems, maintenance, and other interventions do not have an adverse impact of the qualification state of the equipment. 

  • Ensure that new assets delivered to the site can be integrated and supported by site technical staff. 

  • Provide Tier 2 floor support for unscheduled downtime of equipment. 

  • Plan and execute technical projects to meet current and future business needs.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical degree

  • 2+ years experience in regulated environment, preferably in pharma

 

Additional Preferences: 

  • Ability to work in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and others. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to be able to work effectively in a team-based environment. 

  • Responsible for leading by example in safety, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals. 

  • Previous experience as a process automation engineer or in IT is desirable. 

  • Experience with database management, SQL and related technologies. 

  • Small/medium project management or change management experience. 

  • Pharmaceutical experience is desirable. 

  • Computer System Validation experience is desirable. 

 

Other Information:  

  • 8-hour days, after-hour support. 

  • Occasional travel may be required for training, conferences, capital projects, etc.
