Responsibilities
- Design the next generation of Traffic Engineering (TE) based Backbone (BBone) network.
- Lead the operations of the BBone network for high availability.
- Drive the discussion on the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) based traffic engineering.
- Work with cross-functional teams including, but not limited, to compute, storage, database, recommendation system, and assist the team in driving the innovation and evolution of our network.
- Work with external vendors and ISPs for device and carrier selection and perform testing and verification.
- Participate in network global oncall rotation.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Telecommunication Networks, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Telecommunication Networks, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive
related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

- Utilizing network protocols TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF and security protocols IPsec, PKI, NAT, MPLS, and GRE to design the network topology;
- Utilizing network monitoring protocols and tools, including SNMP, sFlow/NetFlow, or Telemetry;
- Working with data center network architecture CLOS;
- Configuring and operating network devices from at least one of the following vendor platforms to manage the company's network infrastructure: Arista, Cisco, or Juniper;
- Developing tools for network deployment automation to reduce deployment cycle SLA using Python scripts; and
- Operating and troubleshooting network issues related to BGP, OSPF, and link failures.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% required.
