Project Coordinator

• Act under the supervision of a project and/or organizational manager (Lead Project Manager, Program Manager)
  • Respond to stakeholder requests for information
  • Escalate risks and issues that have potential to impact project(s)
• Prioritize conflicting project needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. 
• Coordinate, organize and document regular project communication meetings.
• Create, update and maintain basic project documentation, including email groups, meeting minutes, and RAID items.
• Coordinate the preparation and creation of project presentations by creating and updating templates, merging formats from multiple contributors and reviewing presentations 
• Interact via phone, e-mail, and in-person with internal and external customers, and determine appropriate course of action.
• Assist with project related meeting coordination, including travel planning, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meeting space reservation, equipment requests and catering needs.

Formal Education:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) or in lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business).

 

Knowledge and Experience:

Required:

• 1+ year of IT or business experience.
• 1+ year of experience in one, or more of the following fields: administrative, Operations (supply chain, manufacturing, order management, engineering and procurement), finance, technical (R&D), EHS, regulatory, sales and marketing functions, and related support IT systems
• Knowledge of basic project management concepts
• Strong communication skills

Preferred:

• Formal internship in Project management, Operations (supply chain, manufacturing, order management, engineering and procurement), finance, technical (R&D), EHS, regulatory, sales and marketing functions, and related support IT systems
