Manager Processes & Governance Sales (m/f/d)
to join our team working for a better future.
The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany.
What will you be doing
You will be responsible for ensuring the governance and process management of sales activities, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations in Navigation & Automation. In this position, you will drive and establish robust sales processes and governance frameworks to support both new build and refit and service business. By identifying, quantifying, and capitalizing on process improvement opportunities, you will directly increase operational efficiency and be responsible for all aspects of sales governance from handling and coordination of inquiries to successful handover of orders to order processing.
You must utilize your business and process knowledge to optimize sales processes and expand the business, therefore you should have extensive product understanding of marine electronics, preferably in NACOS PLATINUM Automation and Navigation and a broad understanding of the national/international market and relevant stakeholders.
Your role and responsibilities:

- Accountable for quality and timely response for inquiries, quotations, and orders.
- Accountable for increase of sales process effectivity internally Accountable for increase of customer satisfaction level through consistent communication and support in sales process
- Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement governance frameworks and processes for sales activities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with established sales processes and standards.
- Generate reports and forecasts for order intake in defined areas with active use and discipline in maintaining CRM.
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction through process efficiency.
- Update and follow up on feedback from customers in defined areas.
- Actively review and use available sales tools to enhance process efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure process alignment and efficiency.
- Ensure a smooth transfer of contracted opportunities into orders through effective process management.
- Ensure quality of contracts and alignment with Wärtsilä policies.
- Identify, report and manage potential risks detected in the assigned projects.
The below key requirements will enable you to shine in this role:
- Several years of experience in governance and process management roles in the maritime industry.
