DESCRIPTION:

Contribute to the Core Banking Services Team, responsible for building out new API services for core infrastructure to replace depreciating infrastructure. Specifically, use Java, Spring-Boot, consolidate functionality into individual services using microservices, and Agile to design new API microservices, gather requirements from clients for new feature requests; build new microservices to replace old infrastructure; implement new features in the current design, and improve the current codebase for a better customer experience; work on prioritized backlog and to create new backlog for any lacking functionality; complete and oversee basic to complex systems analysis, design and development; prepare and manage the technical component of project plans; participate with other Development, Operations and Technology staff in overall systems development direction from technical analysis to user acceptance testing; prepare and review test data and execute detailed test plans; and leading customer conversations to extract all design requirements and facilitate that within the new service design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, plus five (5) years of experience developing API microservices using Java and Spring Boot Framework; consolidating functionality into individual services using microservices; and using REST and SQL within an Agile environment.
