Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the future Head of Europe and in dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP and Head of Finance / Operations Europe will play a crucial role in developing and managing all financial and operational functions for the European region. In collaboration with the Europe leadership team, they will support the development and execution of the strategy to accelerate expansion into the region with the build out of an efficient, high performing European organization. The incumbent will contribute to pre-launch and commercial strategic plans, establishment of European processes and policies, leadership and coordination of European staff functions as well as development of the team to implement the plans in a very competitive market, ensuring the timely and successful launch of Daraxonrasib and subsequent portfolio products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a team-oriented focus, a strong background in finance, operations, and cross-functional management to support the company's growth and success.
Finance and Business Planning:

Oversee all European financial functions including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, payroll, procurement, and internal controls.

Collaborate with the US-based accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance of the Europe legal entities.

Ensure alignment on accounting treatment for Europe contracts and agreements, to support appropriate revenue recognition.

Develop and manage European financial strategies to support business growth and ensure financial health.

Collaborate with Corporate G&A functions but not limited to Accounting, FP&A, Human Resources, Legal, and IT to drive process improvements in systems and processes and be ready to scale.

Partner with corporate Tax to ensure transfer pricing and intercompany agreements are set up appropriately as well VAT and Tax filings are supported.

Establish and maintain relationships with European and all global stakeholders.

Lead budgeting processes and financial planning activities (eg. Long Range Plan) across European markets.

Develop and manage P&Ls for affiliates and Europe region. Oversee analysis of financial and operational results versus plan as well as investigations of significant P&L variances.

Support commercial teams with financial business planning, market access strategies, and pricing plans for European markets.

Support recurring business reviews

Provide strategic insights and analysis to drive decision-making and business development initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with financial and operational goals.

Lead financial audits for Europe region

Establish and lead internal control framework in collaboration with Corporate Accounting
Operations:

Support the strategic setup of the European commercial distribution channel and order-to-cash activities (eg. Third party logistics Providers – 3PL).

Provide local operational support for international distribution and trade, inclusive of supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control.

Support compliance with international trade regulations, including import/export laws, tariffs, and customs requirements.

Manage relationships with key international suppliers, distributors, and logistics providers.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide local operational support for supply chain activities until a dedicated supply chain discipline is established.

Support compliance with all regulatory requirements for international operations.
Corporate/Enabling Functions:

Collaborate with global functional leaders as well as cross-functional teams to drive successful company and patient outcomes.

In partnership with corporate leaders, lead and coordinate all European finance related staff functions during the initial phase of European operations expansion.
