Extremely high profile and fast paced role providing direct EA and office management support to global EXCO member of Lloyd’s, the incoming CEO of Lloyds Americas, who continues to lead Lloyd’s global network, new entrants, innovation and front line market engagement as Chief Commercial Officer for Lloyd’s.  

This role is fully immersed in the deliverables of the Lloyds global network and every day brings a fresh challenge and ever changing priorities.  You must be prepared to live our values “We are Brave”, “Stronger Together” and “We do the Right Thing”, be comfortable with ambiguity, challenge and change whilst helping to lead a collaborative environment helping the CEO/CCO to drive sustainable profitable global growth.

Working in partnership with her Business Manager to support the strategy and goals of the Commercial division and across broader Corporate objectives you will need to bring a professional solutions driven and energised approach, with a cross cultural appreciation and the ability to communicate at an executive level globally.  Accountabilities include:

  • Extensive diary management using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Organising frequent international travel arrangements and schedules.
  • Ensuring the CEO is adequately prepared for upcoming meetings, trips and events with the appropriate information and paperwork.
  • Pro-active preparation of documents such as letters and presentations, e.g. identify queries that require a standard response, and either respond directly or prepare a draft for the CEO.
  • Making appropriate decisions - delegating work to others in the CEO’s absence.
  • Maintaining good relationships with senior executives, support staff and senior market contacts.
  • Diary alignment of incoming global executives in collaboration with Corporation resources
  • Maintenance of key databases
  • Managing the flow of emails, responding, prioritising and facilitating responses as appropriate.
  • Responding to queries via both telephone and email. Attending meetings where appropriate on behalf of CEO.
  • Acting as first point of contact and ‘host’ for both internal and external visitors.
  • Planning and organisation of priority offsites
  • Providing broader support for the CEO in organising major market wide workshops in support of a range of initiatives, such as the CIAB
  • Management of team annual leave.
  • Providing cover to other Regional PA’s as appropriate
  • Matrix management over other Regional PA’s
  • Responsible for managing the Employee Networks in the US and Canada
  • Office management of the New York office – including building maintenance and 3rd party management

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,0000 (Dependent on Experience)
