Senior Business Analyst

Job Purpose or Objective(s):   Provide full cycle management of internal and external business opportunities including the development, analysis, due diligence, business planning, capital funding, and final integration into Choctaw Nation. You will report to the Executive Director of Strategic Development.

Location: Durant

Schedule: Regular/Full-Time - Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

 Primary Tasks:

1.       You will collaborate with Senior Leadership and external advisors to elaborate and conduct financial and risk analysis of business opportunities to develop business cases.

2.       Analyze complex and competing requirements across operations.

3.       Conduct competitor and market research on current and prospective businesses in areas such as value chains, market size, market growth, market share, relative profit margins, distribution strength, and production capacity.

4.       Conduct internal analysis to identify, recommend, negotiate, structure, and obtain internal approvals for potential business opportunities.

5.       You will define important metrics and databases that measure business portfolio performance and business development opportunities.

6.       Provide oversight and support in the delivery of business analysis activities across the portfolio of projects.

7.       Develop core models, financial, valuation., and to business development opportunities and perform complex financial projections and business valuation.

8.       Prepare presentations, proposals, and business plans in connection with business development opportunities.

9.       Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in related field such as management science, finance, accounting, business, economics or quantitative field or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of education.

·         Hands-on proficiency with important software programs including Microsoft (Excel (can perform complex functions), Access, Word, PowerPoint) and the potential to use advanced decision support analytic tools

·         Analytical, written, verbal, and correspondence skills

·         Work efficiently and effectively on multiple projects at the same time

·         Working knowledge of overall business operations

·         Excellent commercial and financial experience

·         Ensure confidentiality of all business development opportunities, documentation, and information

·         Eight (8) years in Sr. Business Development, Sr. Accounting, or Sr. Financial roles, such as Controller or Sr. Analyst
