Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift to join our Hermiston, OR team!

The 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor will assist in the distribution operations including but not limited to; management and oversight of warehousing operations on our second shift.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

· Previous supervisory and operational experience required.

· Prior automotive parts knowledge experience preferred.

· Must have a valid Oregon driver license

· Prefer Box Truck driving experience

2nd Shift Supervisor duties include but are not limited to:

· Manage all operational duties within the warehouse on 2nd shift, including picking and dispersing of product and load out of all trucks.

· Able to initiate, coordinate, and enforce program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

· Maintain physical condition of the warehouse.

· Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment.

· Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

· Filling in for driving

· All other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Sunday through Thursday

10am to 8pm

Requirements for 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor:

· Must have demonstrated leadership and operational skills.

· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Must be able to effectively communicate up and down the organizational structure.

· Must be pro-active and change/address issues before they become problems.

· Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.

· Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor warehouse operators to ensure quality and compliance.

· Must obtain forklift certification within three (3) months of being on the job.

· Must train and be able to drive a box truck within three months of being on the job.

· Basic computer skills and knowledge of WMS software.
