EY GDS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate for the posi9on of Full-stack technical lead/developer. As a Senior, you will be responsible for developing highly scalable 
and robust Frontend applica9on having Node JS as middleware. We are specifically looking for candidates who have exper9se in React, Node.js and having built services usingmicroservices architecture. Skills in Micro-Frontends and BFF’s will have addi9onal weightage. 
 

Responsibilities:

•  Designing and developing user interfaces using React.js
•  Building scalable and efficient server-side applica9ons using Node.js
•  Implemen9ng and maintaining microservices architecture for improved system scalability and flexibility
•  Collabora9ng with cross-func9onal teams to define and implement APIs
•  Op9mizing applica9on performance and ensuring high availability of services
•  Inves9ga9ng and resolving produc9on issues and implemen9ng bug fixes
•  Par9cipa9ng in code reviews and providing construc9ve feedback to team members
•  Keeping up to date with industry trends and advancements in web development and microservices architectures
•  Mentoring and guiding junior developers in best prac9ces for React, Node.js, and microservices.

Requirements:

•  Strong experience in React.js for building user interfaces, including components, state management, and reusable UI paXerns
•  Solid proficiency in Node.js for developing server-side applica9ons and RESTful APIs
•  In-depth understanding and prac9cal experience with microservices architecture, 
• ncluding principles, design paXerns, and common tools/frameworks
•  Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS/SASS for cra`ing efficient and maintainable code
•  Experience with modern front-end build tools and workflows, such as Webpack, Babel, and Git
•  Familiarity with containeriza9on technologies like Docker and orchestra9on tools like Kubernetes
•  Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with data modelling and querying
•  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in produc9on environments
•  Excellent communica9on and collabora9on skills, with the ability to work effec9vely in a team-oriented environment

 

Preferred Qualifica5ons:

•  Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
•  Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud pladorms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
•  Experience with DevOps prac9ces and automa9on tools
•  Familiarity with GraphQL and related tools/frameworks
