PRACTICE SUMMARY

Specialists in Medical Imaging (SMI) services ​three hospitals and additional outpatient imaging sites in the Central Illinois towns of Peoria and Pekin, Illinois. Single worklist allows for efficient reading across the practice. Broad range of subspecialty expertise present in the practice allows for easy consultation with peers for second opinions. Specialists in Medical Imaging (SMI) is seeking a full-time Day Remote General Diagnostic Radiologist. Due to the broad range of subspecialty expertise already present in the practice, all fellowship training will be considered. Qualified candidates should be capable of handling the interpretation of most general diagnostic studies. This is a 1-year partnership track position with competitive salary and benefits.  


POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Competitive salary with Bonus!
  • Work Schedule: Day, Monday – Friday, hours typically between 7:30am-5pm
  • Comfortable with most general diagnostic studies
  • 1-year partnership track position
  • Evening/Night coverage provided by separate dedicated night shift team
  • Equitable sharing of 1:6 weekends and evening/night call responsibilities
  • Internal moonlighting opportunities available if desired

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship training in any subspecialty is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to secure an Illinois License
  • New Grads Welcome
