About the team

The Accounts Core and Experiences (ACE) team builds the APIs and services that Stripe users, from

SMBs to complex multinationals, use to model their users and businesses, and capture payments for their customers. Our work directly enables Stripe’s network effects; we facilitate the sharing of resources and power the ability for platforms to scalably create and manage complex marketplaces and vertical SaaS.

What you’ll do

As a Technical Program Manager in the ACE space you will play a key role within engineering and drive programs that span across the ACE organization and the whole company. You will be responsible for the successful definition, cross-functional strategy, planning and execution of large-scale technical programs within the ACE space.

Responsibilities

• Define the programs’ structure and drive execution for ACE initiatives and cross-functional activities, including tracking upward and downward dependencies, compliance, conducting efficiency programs and audits, identifying potential blockers and implementing mitigation plans, and driving trade-off discussions. 
• Act as a representative of the ACE team in various cross-functional forums and business and technical reviews.
• Drive ACE org-wide forums via defining and implementing end-to-end processes others can adopt and run independently.
• Make substantial improvements to how the teams you work with communicate and operate to significantly increase the productivity and efficiency of the teams.

Minimum requirements

• 7+ years of technical product/program management experience
• Experience managing technical software programs from kick-off to ship, demonstrating critical, analytical and problem-solving thinking and thought leadership
• Consistent track record of program management of the ambitious and ambiguous 0-to-1 projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence and build strong relationships with the internal and external stakeholders and teams around the organization
• You can drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
• Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with platform products that serve both internal and external customers
