Accounting Manager

Your role

• You will prepare of all necessary financial statements and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate and timely

• Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures.

• You will monitor the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded

• Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, and recommend corrective action as necessary

• You will prepare and review various audit schedules and provide requested information to company’s internal and external auditors

• Work closely with CFO, Controlling, Logistics, HR, Purchasing, and Operations.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• You will provide financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals

Your experiences

You have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Extensive experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or industrial companies.

You have a solid knowledge of:

• Romanian Accounting Standards
• IFRS
• Romanian tax & VAT legislation
• Ensure full compliance with Romanian accounting, tax, VAT, and labor regulations.
• Support tax audits, prepare documentation, and liaise with external consultants (Big4, tax lawyers).
• Ensure correct application of VAT rules, CIT rules, WHT, and local regulatory requirements.
• SAP (FI/CO)
• Lead and supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes (IFRS + local GAAP).

Additionally,

• You have experience with statutory audits and tax inspections (ANAF).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proactive, structured, and reliable personality with strong ownership.
