Description

The Senior Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity standards are met. This role requires a strong leader with extensive manufacturing experience who can develop teams, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and develop a team of manufacturing employees across assigned shifts.
  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure goals for safety, quality, production, and cost are achieved.
  • Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust staffing as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Enforce safety policies and support accident prevention initiatives.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve performance and support professional growth.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, HR, and leadership to resolve operational issues.
  • Review production reports and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Maintain accurate records related to production, attendance, inventory, and performance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience (required).
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment (required).
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production workflows.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred).
  • Experience in high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing settings.
  • Knowledge of ERP or production management systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and around industrial equipment.
