Position: Special Education Teacher - Secondary
About the Role:
Greenwood School District 50 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026�2027 school year. This teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to help students with special needs reach their fullest potential in both academic and social development.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Teacher's Certification in Special Education
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff in a supportive and professional manner
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- 190-day contract
- Salary determined by the district teacher salary scale, based on degree and years of experience
