<p>The Lead Financial Analyst is a key position within the Financial Planning and Analysis team and will provide primary financial support to the fast-growing Cloud Organization, including monthly results reporting & analysis, budgeting/forecasting and business analysis, and financial modeling. The position requires an individual with a fair degree of autonomy, a broad understanding of Cloud infrastructure, and a solid financial acumen. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize input from multiple sources are a must.</p>

<p>You Are Great At</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead planning and forecasting cycles including developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews, and corporate reporting. Manage overall cloud reporting</li>
<li>Partner with functional leaders to create long-range plans and short-range forecasts, understanding/evaluating key function drivers. Track financial progress against plans and projects at a granular level</li>
<li>Support global operating expenses and planning and reporting</li>
<li>Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly/quarterly closing/estimates; communicate current results and estimates to functional leaders</li>
<li>Identify risks & opportunities during each quarter and work with functional leads in mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities</li>
<li>Recommend actions to achieve planned performance for the operating teams</li>
<li>Understand, communicate, and explain variance drivers within the function</li>

<li>Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for understanding and evaluating cloud spending including hosting, colocation, telecom and equipment expenditures</li>
<li>Performing deep dive analysis with the business to understand and analyze spending and creating financial models to support various business options within the Cloud</li>
<li>Collaborating with the Accounting team during the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process</li>
<li>Performing ad hoc analysis as requested</li>
</ul>

<p>What It Takes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors, and peers. </li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing. </li>
<li>Advanced skills and experience in financial modeling and statistical analysis. </li>
<li>Ability to analyze and interpret data, and to identify relevant issues in solving business problems.</li>
<li>Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office and business analysis tools and SAP for data management, research, analysis, and reporting purposes. Proficiency in Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, including pivot tables, v-lookup, and macros.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or another related quantitative discipline. Advanced degree desirable.</li>
<li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role with prior experience in supporting the Cloud Infrastructure environment is preferred.</li>
<li>High tech, Internet or Computer industry experience preferred</li>
