Assistant Research Scientist Part-Time Non-Exempt (Fenton Lab)

Description

The candidate will be an outgoing motivated individual. They will perform brief EEG scalp recordings from human subjects in the lab and at clinical sites. The data collection will involve operating computer and smart phone-based software to record EEG and deliver computerized visual stimuli,  

 

The candidate is expected to perform tasks to support the research including patient recruitment, liaising with clinical staff, data curation and analysis, as well as data presentation in written and oral presentations.

 

Approximately 20 hours per week

 

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $25/hr. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Qualifications

An undergraduate degree in neuroscience is a minimum qualification. Programming, presentation, and project management skills will be valuable
