Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects or a larger project, overseeing all phases from proposal development to project closeout.
Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and identify appropriate resources.
Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
Communicate project status with senior project managers, functional area managers, or program managers.
Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators.
Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
Ensure timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to schedules.
Remain agile and flexible to adapt to frequent changes in project requirements or scope.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
4+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.
Experience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or performing CAM responsibilities within a project environment
Experience with risk management planning and documentation.
Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution.
Experience in resource planning and management during project execution.
Experience as a project scheduler or demonstrated proficiency with project scheduling tools and techniques
Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.
Essential Functions:
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel as required.
Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.
