Job Description
Eurofins PSS is hiring at our Rensselaer, NY client site! We have multiple openings both entry-level and more experienced in a range of different concentrations! We have opportunities both in the lab, in more of an operations setting, data analytics, project management, instrument-based, and more! The following are just a few of our career opportunities at this site!
Microbiologist:
- Conducting environmental monitoring of our manufacturing and QC facilities – sampling water, air, gas, swabbing surfaces, personnel monitoring, etc.
- Bioburden/Endotoxin testing, plate readers, pH meter, etc.
- Validating results, writing technical reports, maintaining sample inventory
Data Analytics, Project Management, & Lab Support:
- Track and compile lab & manufacturing data, track project timelines, statistical analysis to monitor method performance, etc.
- Data visualization, programming
- Automating systems
- Sample management – tracking lab samples, documentation, receiving samples, delivering samples to lab locations, etc.
Process Engineer:
- Analyze data for process improvement
- Tech/Method Transfer & Process Scale-Up
- Risk Assessment, deviation investigations, writing technical documents, etc.
Instrumentation Analyst/Metrologist:
- Set up, installation, and maintenance of lab equipment
- Vendor management, scheduling routine maintenance and calibrations of lab instruments
- Reviewing documentation, change controls, investigations of deviations involving lab equipment
Biologist, Biochemist:
- Stability, Release, & QC testing
- ELISA, Capillary Electrophoresis, Mammalian Cell Culture, Gel-based assays, etc.
- Assay development & qualifications, Method Transfer, Process Improvement, etc.
- Write & Review SOPs and other technical documents
Chemists:
- Routine Sample Testing & Sample Prep, Drug Product Testing
- HPLC, LCMS, Extractions, Moisture Content, Container Closure Integrity, pH meter, Appearance testing, Turbidity, SoloVPE, etc.
- Calibrate instruments & Maintain lab supplies
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a life science field of study – Associates degree will be considered for our 2nd Shift QC Microbiologist positions
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required
- Some positions may require at least 1 year of lab experience and/or GMP experience/knowledge
- Looking for detail-oriented scientists excited about learning and helping the world with creating, testing, and developing our client’s drug products!
- Ability to work with MS Office and other software
