As part of a passionate and growing team of experts, you will be accountable as a Technical Program Manager (TPM)) for planning, executing, and monitoring projects, according to strict deadlines and budgets. The TPM acts as the single-threaded forward leader on a program with oversight of assigned tasks and projects, incorporating elements of Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management.  The TPM ensures cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects by coordinating the procurement, build, and test of complex products as well as documentation, budget management, and escalation only when necessary. The TPM designs operations and production strategies to programs and enables their implementation through integration with key stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define program operations and production strategies to meet program performance and production objectives
  • Drive operations and production strategies through implementation through assignment of projects and tasks, funding and budget tracking, and integration with key stakeholders
  • Act as the functional lead in all aspects of strategic technical projects and tasks
  • Effectively collaborate with the supporting functions to maintain project schedules
  • Perform and lead others in the execution and facilitation of specific project plans, managing risks, tracking, reporting on status, and resolving blocking issues
  • Work independently toward long-range objectives without appreciable direction and determine the technical objectives of assignments to develop approaches to solutions
  • Apply program management principles in the development of executable plans and implementation of creative solutions to complex problems
  • Perform lead-time and critical path analysis on multi-level project
  • Manage project budgets with the responsibility to analyze, manage, and report on budget performance and variance analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in operations and strategy development and implementation within an engineering and manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent, and 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Understanding of product lifecycle, specifically from development to production
  • Familiarity with procurement and supply chain operations
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Interpret basic engineering instructions and drawings
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a technical lead role with significant technical project management responsibility and proven technical depth
  • Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring
  • Experience managing dynamic (e.g., growing, evolving) organizations, including planning, budget, schedule, quality, deliverables, reporting, staff, facilities, and interfaces
  • Experience using schedule management tools such as P6 Primavera
  • Experience using Computer-Aided Design tools such as CATIA
  • Technical expertise that has contributed to the success of Tier 1 milestones
