Job Description

Your mission during this flight: 

The Head of Production has corporate authority for ensuring that all operations activities can be financed and carried out to the standard required by the Regulator (Part21G Definition).

As Head of Production POA you are directly interfacing with the production-team of Volocopter and ensure fulfilling the production schedule and aviation requirements.

• You are key to establish, implement and improve those processes that span all the activities for the organization, and you are coordinating with the respective areas to ensure that each requirement is implemented in a consistent and efficient way.
• You will implement methods of production, schedule orders and lead the teams within production to ensure on time delivery with the respective level of quality.
• You plan and supervise order and delivery timeline in the Production Organization.
• You are responsible for resource planning, development, and assurance of proper documentation in accordance with Production Organization Exposition and Aviation Legislation.
• You supervise the production following aviation regulations and procedures according to approved Production Organization Exposition.
• You ensure a proper development of layout and workstations within entities.
• You order tools and equipment necessary for efficient production of aircraft parts and assemblies.
• You are responsible for training and development of production personnel.
• You ensure continuous improvement of production from order to delivery.
• You monitor operational safety within production organization.

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills: 

• University Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or comparable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Head of Production or in positions of comparable complexity within the aviation industry (or highly regulated environment).
• Experience in relevant Quality Management Standards, preferred in Part21G or Part 145.
• Experience in obtaining one or more organizational approvals through relevant Aviation Authorities.
• Team player with strong communication skills and hands on.
• Strong Leadership and broad experiences in Production Procedures, Lean Management and Principles.
• Fluent in German and English.
