We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Accounting Specialist to join our team in Bedford, NH. The Accounting Specialist will handle essential billing, reconciliation, and expense processes while working closely with project managers and the accounting team. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions-What You Will Do
- Prepare and process accurate client invoices with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Maintain and update project records in the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system (open/close projects, modify budgets, track tasks).
- Process month-end closings, preparing timely reconciliations.
- Review weekly expense reports for accuracy and compliance in SAP/Concur and process payments promptly.
- Partner with project managers to confirm billing accuracy and maintain current project information.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to achieve timeliness and efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external partners.
- Participate in additional accounting functions and projects as cross-training is provided.

Competencies-What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping and/or billing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP systems a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication with a strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively with small teams as well as independently.
Physical Requirements
- Work is mainly performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Sedentary work requiring long periods of sitting.
