About the Role:

The Team: We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled software engineer for S&P Global Market Intelligence. This developer would help us to accelerate different initiatives within Energy Datasets.

The Impact: As a Lead Software Developer, you will be part of the development team that manages and supports the Internal applications supporting Energy Datasets.

What you'll be working on:

• Build data acquisition and transformation pipelines using big data and cloud technologies.
• Work with the broader technology team, including information architecture and data fabric teams to align pipelines to a common initiative
   

What We’re Looking For:

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering
• 4+ years of software/data engineering experience using fast-paced Agile methodologies
• Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark with Python or Scala, Snowflake, AWS EMR
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and in maintaining and developing software in production
• Good working knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databases
