Senior X-Ray Tech - Operating Room- New Building 1111 Westchester Avenue- Full Time- Days

Opening in September 2025, a new, multi-disciplinary, state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility, will offer a wide range of adult and pediatric specialty care services, all under one roof, delivered by exceptional care teams led by trusted Columbia doctors. Located at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, the center will set a new standard for superior patient experience, convenience, and quality care. 

In this role, you will prepare patients for radiologic examinations in a professional and courteous manner, operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment and process images according to established procedures. Be a part of excellence using your clinical skill and expertise in radiologic technology to position patients, perform procedures and be sensitive to the needs of the patients. In addition to demonstrating a mastery of technical skills knowledge as a working Radiologic Technologist; the Senior Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) will assume additional assigned responsibility for work direction, training and in-service instruction to staff under the clinical direction of the Supervisor. This position will function as an extension of the supervisor for the section.

This is a full time day shift 7am-3pm Monday- Friday position at 111 Westchester Avenue, White Plains, NY

Preferred Criteria

• Prior experience working in an Operating Room

 

Required Criteria

• Graduate AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in X-Ray
• New York State X-Ray Technologist License
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Three years’ experience as an x-ray technologist

$50.45-$66.15/Hourly
