Regional Global Mobility Junior Advisor

We are currently looking to add to our team a Regional Global Mobility Junior Advisor with Tax expertise for the UK&IE, to join our friendly and dedicated HR function in the UK. This is an exciting time for our organisation as we embark on a new chapter of our journey, delivering our services to the business on a global scale.

The role Global Mobility Junior Advisor will be an integral part of the HR team providing regional coordination and administrative support on Global Mobility related cases. You will also be ensuring the initiation, set-up and support of expats and application of agreed Global Mobility policies and guidelines as part of our network of global mobility experts

You will be working closely with the Global Mobility Partner and Global Mobility/Tax advisor, the wider GM team, employees, managers, HRBPs, Global Mobility vendors and CoE and you will focus on coordination and administration of global mobility processes and support.

This is a challenging and varied role in which every day will be different, some of the tasks and responsibilities you can expect to be involved in include:

• Provide general GM coordination and administrative support in all areas of global mobility, including immigration, tax and social security for a large population of short-term assignees and business travellers.
• Support employees with day to day tax queries
• Provide first level GM HR advisory and policy guidance support to employees, escalating more complex support requirements to GM Partner and GM Tax Advisor
• Provide relevant, accurate data and instructions to Global Mobility vendors to initiate assignment related services
• Collaborate with local teams and Global Mobility vendors to maintain and update all relevant documentation and platforms (e.g. templates, checklists, country packs, etc.)
• Support employees and managers to use global mobility assignment management software, providing training and ongoing support, and escalating more complex queries and issues
• Review current GM coordination and administrative processes and support for UK&IE employees with a view to streamlining processes and continuous improvement
• Support the GM Partner to manage tracking and compliance of UK immigration cases and work visa expiry dates (sponsored workers)
• Support managers and employees with UK right to work checks for non-UK or Irish nationals
• Keep up to date with any country specific immigration rules and regulations
• Escalate risks and complex cases to GM Partner and GM Tax Advisor
• Ensure coordination with the local and global HR Services team to identify any interdependencies with other HR process such as Compensation and Payroll (Expat Payroll and Shadow Payroll)
