Rate: $17.00/HR

Available Schedule: Sat - Tues: 3PM - 11PM

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet vendors, client employees, and site visitors.
• Conduct internal/external foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. 
• Monitor Entrance/exits, and provides guidance for site visitors.
• Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via client system.
• Provide an atmosphere in which all site visitors, client employee's and management know their needs are being met. 
• Present a good image to the client, client employee's, vendors and site visitors. 
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. 
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Understands the nature of customer service, and interactions with the public.
• Must have Swing shift availability.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. 
• Must be able to interact with and greet customers in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and computers, camera monitoring, and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, drivers, general public, co-workers, Site Supervisor, and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client representatives and Office Management. 
• Must take breaks and meals in accordance with legal requirements.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Mut be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and professional, and check customer receipts. 
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security oper
