CARR Global Sales Leader (remote)

What you’ll do:

Lead global commercial team (sales & application scientists) to achieve growth targets through a structured process of pipeline management, tracking to results, and coaching the team. Inspire accountability to ensure the sales team is meeting high expectations in generating demand from existing and new customers through prospecting and thoughtful participation in marketing efforts (e.g. – webinars, trade shows, conferences, seminars, etc). Work closely with the organization's cross-functional leaders (marketing, strategy, customer experience, operations, innovation, finance) to ensure profitable and sustainable growth. Actively participate in the SIOP process to ensure the organization is aligned. Collaborate with Strategy & Product Management to identify market trends and plan new products and services. Establish and review KPIs to gain insights into sales performance and drive continuous improvement. Integrate CRM into daily selling activities; ensure buy-in and understanding from the team; use data to maintain accurate demand forecasts, determine the success of various efforts, and analyze trends (won/lost reasons, close rates, pipeline health, etc.) to inspire improvement. Travel with the team to support customer meetings, tradeshows, and training. 50%+ travel required. Lead negotiations of scope and terms on sales contracts and customer supply agreements. Focus on business P&L and contribute to Executive Leadership Team (ELT) effectiveness for the overall health of the business and our teams. Your leader in this role will be Joel Williams (President of CARR).

Experience most likely to have prepared you for this role:

Bachelor’s Degree + 10 years related sales and/or sales leadership experience with an understanding of capital equipment and consumable sales in the bioprocessing market (e.g., mAb, Cell & Gene Therapy, Vaccine, etc.).

Track record of sales success (achievements, stats) and strong ability to keep commitments and meet deadlines.

Ability to design simple and efficient team processes.

Strong communicator (verbal/written) that presents complex information concisely, compellingly, and positively.

Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic.

Proficient in use of CRM systems, leveraging data/insights to identify opportunities and aid in decision-making.

Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills.

High technical aptitude

Technology savvy and experience with Microsoft Office products (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Dynamics CRM)

  • Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for regular operation of a computer.
