Claims Intake Associate - THREE

Three Insurance, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has been experiencing substantial growth since its start just a few short years ago...and is anticipating even more growth to come! We are an internet-driven company that offers business insurance, such as workers' comp, liability, commercial auto and umbrella policies. We are looking for enthusiastic Claims Intake professionals to join and grow with our team!

Shift Available: 8am - 4:30PM CST.

Job Responsibilities

• Regularly answer calls in a timely, positive manner and provide exceptional customer service
• Receive inbound calls from claimants, attorneys, vendors, brokers, Third Party
  Administrators and agents regarding claims
• Make outbound calls, when necessary, to policy holders, claimants, and adjustors
  accordingly to obtain additional information for claim submission
• Receive and record potential claims by phone and email
• Research requested information using available resources and provide accurate and detailed information regarding all inquiries, based on protocol
• Complete call notes and call reports as necessary and update them within the Claims’ Systems, recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
• Route calls to other team members and departments when necessary
• Escalate customer concerns as needed

Qualifications

• A general understanding of insurance coverage (e.g. claimant and type of claim, etc.)
• Must be detail oriented, paying special attention to spelling, punctuation, grammar, and information
• Must be compassionate, patient, and professional
• Must have basic computer knowledge – using multiple screens and systems
• Adaptability - Agents must be flexible and open to change
• Excellent research and interpersonal skills
• Experience in customer service

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided.  The salary range for this position is $20-24 per hour.  Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
