Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @</span><a dir="ltr" href="http://www.Rippling.com" target="_blank"><span>Rippling.com</span></a><span> addresses.</span></p><h2 dir="ltr"><b><strong>Global Payroll Lead, Subject Matter Expert </strong></b></h2><p><br/></p><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>What will you do?</strong></b></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><span>Become a product expert across our Global Payroll (and broader HR) capabilities with a deep focus on both UK and Ireland payroll.</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge assets reflecting current product behaviour, regulatory updates, and FAQs for both regions.</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Analyse customer support data to evaluate the quality of interactions and identify recurring issues or gaps in training, tooling, or product coverage.</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Partner with the Country Product Managers for the UK and Ireland to share insights on support volume trends, regulatory pain points, and areas for improvement in the customer experience.</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Act as a go-to expert for internal teams, assisting Customer Support Specialists with region-specific payroll nuances and compliance questions.</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Take ownership of complex or escalated customer cases, using your knowledge of UK and Irish payroll regulations and product functionality to ensure fast and accurate resolution.</span></li></ul><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>Required qualifications (UK)</strong></b></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><span>8-10 years of hands-on payroll experience across both the UK and Ireland, ideally within a payroll provider, HR/payroll software company, or internal payroll function (e.g., using platforms like ADP, Sage, IRIS, Thesaurus, BrightPay).</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions (auto-enrolment), statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.), and Real Time Information (RTI).</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, including PAYE modernisation, USC, PRSI, LPT, statutory leave/payments, and Revenue reporting (e.g., ROS, PMod).</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Experience managing payroll audits and addressing inquiries from HMRC (UK) and Revenue (Ireland).</span></li><li dir="ltr"><span>Familiarity with labour laws and statutory obligations impacting payroll, such as minimum wage, holiday pay, and sick leave entitlements in both countries.</span></li></ul><p dir="ltr"><span>This is a hybrid position and will require 3 days in office per week. </span></p>
